帽子由一种特殊的酚类物质(矿物填充)制成，可以承受重复的高压蒸气压的影响。选用白色橡胶衬套/盖粘结剂，在高压下保持其粘附性能。这顶帽子从衬里的衬里大约是总重量的一半，除了38 - 430，它有完整的线。该上限是在ASTM规范E982中确定的，A类要求。

Culture Tube Cap, Phenolic with White Rubber Liner
Cap is made of a special phenolic material (mineral filled) to withstand the effects of repeated autoclaving. White rubber liner/cap bond was selected to retain its adhesive properties during autoclaving. This cap is threaded from the liner down approximay to half the total weight, except 38-430 which has full threads. The cap is identified in ASTM Specification E982, Class A requirements.
